Movie Review
Debut director Arun has selected a good story with a good script but fails to impress with narration. Though the subject - how greed for money can ruin one's life - is a good theme to deal with, the narration is too slow and many times lengthy keeping you guessing what the director wants to say. The story does not move an inch in many sequences. There is also a need to trim the movie by at least 15 minutes removing some absurd sequences. The director has failed to capture the drama in many sequences effectively.

The story has three heroes - Kabira (Srimurali), Bujji (Srikanth) and Shankara (Akul Balaji). All of them are after money for one reason or the other. The drama begins when Srikanth loots a bank and escapes in the taxi driven by Shankara. Before fleeing, two persons were killed by him in the shooting. Shankara comes to know of the money in the bag and tries to kill Bujji for the money to aid his mother's medical treatment. In the drama that follows, the money bag reaches Kabira who had just come out of the jail. He is in love with Maggie ( Rekha). He kills her and takes away the money bag from her. At last, Kabira, Bujji and Shankara come together and realize that money spoils peace of mind. Another drama breaks out here when Shankara tries to kill Bujji. The twist is that one of the two persons he had killed in the bank was Shankara's lover Milky (Aishwarya Nag). The rest is a drama.

While Akul Balaji's expressions are perfect, Srimurali and Srikanth have done justice to their roles. Aishwarya Nag is stunning with her glamorous looks, Shravya shows promise in acting. It's the debuant music director Vani Harikrishna who wins your heart with some excellent tunes. Cinematography by HK Dayananda is okay.
