Baahubali is the the upcoming Indian epic film that will be simultaneously shot in
Telugu, Tamil languages.

The film will also be dubbed in Malayalam, Hindi and in several Foreign languages.
The film is directed by S. S. Rajamouli starring Prabhas, Anushka Shetty and Rana Daggubati.
The film is produced by Shobu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni under Arka Media Works banner. Film director K. Raghavendra Rao is presenting the film.
The soundtrack for the film will be composed by M. M. Keeravani.
National Award winner Sabu Cyril has been roped in as art director for the film

Filming
The director of the film has confirmed that the filming of film shall start on July 6, 2013 and will use Alexa XT camera(s)
made by Arri (Arnold & Richter Cine Technik (A&R)) company to shoot the film. The producer of the film has confirmed that the film would be shot in Telugu
and Tamil languages simultaneously and will be dubbed in Malayalam, Hindi and in several Foreign languages and all versions will be
released on the same date of release.
The shooting of the film has started at Rock Gardens in Kurnool.

Rebel star Krishnam Raju is going to direct Prabhas in a film, which will be started after Rajamouli's 'Baahubali'.

The film has been titled as 'Okka Adugu'. Krishnam Raju said that the movie will reach the expectations of Prabhas fans and they will disclose the complete details soon.

'Okka Adugu' is a popular dialogue from Prabhas and Rajamouli's previous blockbuster 'Chatrapathi'. The combination of Krishnam Raju and Prabhas has already created waves in the industry and it will be a feast to the fans of their family. Prabhas'-starrer Mirchi completes 100 days run at the Tollywood box office as on Thursday. The film, released on February 8, went on to become a huge success and has catapulted Prabhas into the Ivy-league of 40-crore club.

Directed by debutante Koratala Siva, Mirchi has Anushka Shetty and Richa Gangopadhyay as the leading women while Sathyaraj and Nadhiya are seen in pivotal roles. Devi Sri Prasad sassy numbers have topped several chartbusters and were instrumental in the film's success.

Rumours are abuzz that Prabhas will be playing the role of Rajput dynasty King Prithviraj Chauhan who occupied the throne at the age of 20 in 1169 CE. He has a love interest Sanyogita (played by Anushka) and a sibling (played by Rana Daggubati). The film is set in the time period 1000 AD and it's full on action with a lot of battle wars.

However, no one from the Bahubali unit have neither confirmed nor denied these reports until now. For now, let's treat these reports as mere speculations. Wish the buzz is true as the packaging and the backdrop appears very impressive.

Bahubali is the right kind of film for a well built hero like Prabhas and Rajamouli is one filmmaker who could handle any kind of script. A six feet tall actor wielding a sword and riding a horse on silver screen is the ultimate experience film buffs could dream and their wish will be fulfilled with this period drama, expected to cost nearly Rs 100 crores. As Bahubali is a tri-lingual, the film also marks the debut of Prabhas in Bollywood and will also have huge release in Tamilnadu due to the 'Eecha' (Eega in Telugu) factor. Call it dedication or Rajamouli effect... whatever the reason may be... Tollywood hunk Prabhas is looking entirely different with full grown beard and hair. Besides that he has certainly bulked up for his role in Bahubali. Looks like Rajamouli wanted to show Prabhas in a very different avatar. Even Rana Daggubati who plays the evil brother of Prabhas in Bahubali has been sporting a beard these days.

Although none of the crew members have announced anything about the look of lead actors, we could guess it easily by looking at Prabhas and Rana. Prabhas is nearly unrecognizable now. Don't know if this is the final look or Rajamouli is still waiting to finalize Prabhas look as Bahubali. Prabhas is playing the role of an ancient king in this movie. The actor is known for his handsome looks, but we are definitely going to see the raw side of him in this film.

This look is getting mixed response from hardcore fans of Prabhas too. May be they got used to see Prabhas in his usual look and are unable to adjust to this sudden change in him. However, Rajamouli is a master in designing the look of his film and actors and Prabhas will surely rock as Bahubali on screen. This is just a fan clicked picture and not the first look of the film, mind you!

Prabhas-starrer Mirchi has completed 50 days in more than 230 centers. The action drama, which was well received by the audience, went on to become the biggest hit in Prabhas' career. Also, Mirchi has set the cash regiters ringing by collecting more than 40 crores worldwide.

The exhibitors were able to rake in the moolah as the film turned out to be a money spinner. Mirchi did extremely well in overseas too and has become the first film in Prabhas' career to cross the 40 crore mark in terms of collections.

From lot of days, fans of this super talented creative director are holding their nerves in excitement about his new venture. So finally curtains are going to be raised over the latest movie of tough task master S S Rajamouli.

'Baahubali' happens to be the latest project of Rajamouli which is nothing less than of a spectacular grand movie. Sources revealed that the shoot of this flick will go floors by next month. The mega date for the muhurath seems to be April 15th. Hunk hero Prabhas who is riding high after 'Mirchi' success is going to play a warrior prince in his flick set against backdrop of kings and kingdoms. Adding a song or a comedy scene post the release and run of a film, is not something rare in recent times. According to latest buzz, the makers of 'Mirchi' have planned to add a special Rain fight of Prabhas in the film.

Prabhas-Anushka-Richa Gangopadhyay starrer, the film was released on February 8th and has been faring well at the box-office and declared a hit. Directed by debutant Koratala Siva, new producers Pramod and Vamsi are adding new fight in the film.They clarified, "It's a visual and grand feat laced with high octane action sequences. It was a rich rain fight and we couldn't complete our post-production work for it in time and couldn't add in the film during its release. Finally, we're adding the fight to it. We hope Prabhas' fans will enjoy it."

The new change will be visible in theatres from Saturday (March 9).

Prabhas crossed the Barrier!

Yes, Prabhas crossed the mighty Rs 40 crore barrier with his action entertainer Mirchi!

As per the trade, Mirchi collected a share of Rs 18.5 crore from Nizam & Ceded territories alone and another Rs 15 crore have come from rest of Andhra Pradesh. While the Overseas figures were anywhere around Rs 3.6 crores, in Karnataka & Rest Of India it's collected nearly Rs 3 crore. Remember, these figures were just for the first 18 days of the film's run at the Box Office and the collections were strong enough to cross few more milestones.

Till date, Only few Telugu Heroes (Pawan Kalyan, Mahesh Babu, Ram Charan and Allu Arjun) have achieved this feat. Prabhas has now joined this elite club in style.

Young Rebel Star has put an end to the domination of Megas and Ghattamanenis and he is the one to watch out for! Undoubtedly, Prabhas is the next big thing in Tollywood. He might even occupy the prestigious No.1 spot left vacant after Megastar's exit!
