Ram Charan Appreciates Nithin Gunde Jari Gallanthayyinde

An efficient director or a good script once entered the Mega compound will never go out so easily as these young crop of heroes are well aware of the fact that identifying the talent is the key for success in the Entertainment Industry.

Director Vijay Kumar (Gunde Jaari Gallanthayyinde fame) who is a die-hard Pawan fan got a call from Ram Charan post the stupendous success of the film. The young star appreciated the efforts put in by the young filmmaker to deliver a quality product and enquired if he had any exciting scripts with him.

Currently, Mega family is in talks with Vijay Kumar but who will star in this flick is still not yet clear. Charan had two projects in the pipeline - one with Koratala Siva and the other with Boyapati Seenu.

Sources close to the director say, A final decision will be taken based on the script. If Vijay Kumar could come up with a storyline that suits Charan and manages to deliver a solid hit, then nothing could stop him from landing in the list of top league directors.

After bagging a memorable hit with Ishq, Nitin took more than a year for his next film. This shows that he is keen on maintaining the successful graph and when such hard work is put into any film, it hardly disappoints. GJG is yet another enjoyable romantic comedy from Lover boy Nitin.

What is it about?

Karthik (Nitin) falls in love with Shruti (Isha) at first sight. He manages to get her phone number from a friend, but by mistake he notes down a wrong number and calls Shravani (Nitya Menen) and they eventually become close friends. When Shravani is about to express her love to Karthik he gets to know that he has committed a big mistake. How does Karthik finds his true love forms rest of the story.

Performances:

Nitin is energetic and confident in this movie. This is easily the best of his performances. He has done a great job in emotional and comedic scenes as well. Nitya Menen steals the hearts yet again with a striking portrayal of Shravani. Isha Talwar is a pretty face. Ali had some of the best comedy scenes in the movie and he excelled. Tagubothu Ramesh tickles you with few funny one-liners. All others did well in their assigned roles.

Technicalities:

Music by Anup is good. Tu Hi Rey and Neeve Neeve songs are superb. Remix song from Toliprema is well shot. Andrew's cinematography is an asset. Background score is very good. Dialogues are hilarious. Editing is fine. Could have been crisper in the second hour. Production values are rich. Director did a fine job in handling the film well without losing the scope for entertainment. Although the story gets into some heavier moments in the second half, director made sure to not to miss the entertainment. On a whole it is a good job from the debutante.

Analysis:

Gunde Jaari Gallantayyinde plot line is pretty simple like every other romantic comedy. The conflict in the story is strong enough to drive it for two hours. Writers did a wonderful job in maintaining the flow of the movie. There are hardly any dull moments in the film. Despite few hiccups in the second half the film clicks due to good entertainment and sparkling chemistry between the lead pair.

After Ala Modalaindi and Ishq, this is another good romantic comedy that will be supported by the young audience. Gunde Jaari Gallantayyinde has success written all over it. The best part of the film comes before interval. Even the movie ended on a fine note. One will have enough fun watching the film and there is high chances for repeat audiences.

However the director should have avoided including crude fun. Comedy scenes on gays are of cheap taste. Avoiding such scenes doesn't harm the entertainment value in anyway. Barring that GJG is pure fun and is a must watch.

Verdict: Entertainment at its very best!

Hero Nithin made his entry into filmdom in his teens, with a sensational hit 'Jayam' (2002) in the direction of Teja. Even though a son of popular producer N.Sudhakar Reddy, he was recognized by the audience especially youth by his performance.

The success of his second film 'Dil', the first produce 'Dil' Raju in the direction of VV Vinayak, took him a step further. His image was transformed from a chocolate hero to mass hero with this flick.

Nithin although missed a hattrick of success with 'Sambaram' he emerged as a more matured artist in this film. The next 'Sri Anjaneyam' (2004) directed by Krishna Vamsi, followed by 'Sye' (2005) in the direction of SS Rajamouli lined him with top heroes competing for commercial space.

Unfortunately till 2008 a queue of films disappointed him at the box office, and his latest 'Hero' and 'Drona'(2009) co-starring Priyamani emerged as average grosses. Nithin is now pinning hopes on his upcoming films.

He has recently stepped in to Bollywood in the direction of Ram Gopal Varma. This much expectant movie tentatively titled as 'Agyaat' is set to hit the theatres in July.

An out-and-out entertainer in the direction of Paruchuri Murali, with Ileana as the lead lady on Sri Spectra Media is currently shooting abroad. Apart from this Eeshwar Reddy of 'Siddhu from Seekakulam' fame will direct a film on Welfare Creations banner that will go to floors in May. A film in the direction of JD Chakravary will commence in July.

Nithin is celebrating his Birthday today (March 30) with the unit of Sri Spectra Media, currently shooting in Dubai.

Nithin at Oman for Gunde Jaari Gallanthayyinde Shoot

Nithin who bounced back with the youthful love entertainer Ishq is yet again pairing up with the Keralite beauty Nithya Menon for his upcoming movie Gunde Jaari Gallanthayyinde.

The unit has headed to Oman for a fresh songs shoot schedule, being shot in the beautiful locales on the lead pair Nithin and Nithya Menon. Isha Sharvani is playing the other lead. Vijay Kumar Konda is wielding the megaphone for the film while Nikitha Reddy, Nithin’s sister is producing it under Sreshta Movies banner. Anoop Rubens is the music director of the film.

Gunde Jaari Gallanthayyinde will have its audio launch on a grand scale in March while the film will hit the big-screens in April.
